Starting your own online boutique can seem like a daunting task, especially if you’re on a tight budget. But don’t worry, I’m here to help! In this blog post, I will give you tips and tricks on how to start your own online boutique without spending a lot of money. I’ll also provide some helpful resources that you can use to get started. So what are you waiting for? Let’s get started!
Figure Out Your Budget
The first thing you’ll need to do is figure out your budget. How much money do you have to spend on your online boutique? You’ll need to have at least a few hundred dollars to get started, but no more than $5,000. For help with figuring it all out, check out ECom Boot Camp where I teach you the first steps to getting started.

What Kind Of Boutique
Once you have your budget figured out, it’s time to start thinking about what kind of boutique you want to create. Do you want to sell women’s clothes, something you make, or both? What style of clothing do you want to sell? What is your target market? These are all important factors to consider when starting your online boutique.
Boutique Branding
Once you have a good idea of what kind of boutique you want to create, it’s time to start thinking about branding. What is the name of your boutique? What is your logo? What colors do you want to use for your branding? I’ve got a branding course you can take a look at if you need help: https://onlineboutiquecoaching.com/branding
Build Your Website
Now it’s time to start building your website. You can use a platform like Shopify to create your website. Need help? We offer a VIP Experience where we build your Shopify site for you. You can check it out here: https://onlineboutiquecoaching.com/vip-special
We built over 1,000 Shopify stores last year. I recommend using Shopify because it has everything you need to run a store that sells millions of dollars a year. Very large companies use it as well as those just starting out. Once you get the hang of it, it’s easy to use and has a lot of features that will help you run your business efficiently.

Add Your Products
Once you have your website created, it’s time to start adding products. I recommend starting with at least 15 products. You can always add more later. Let’s get you launched and see what your customers actually buy. Then we can add more products.
Promote Your Boutique
Once you have your products added, it’s time to start promoting your boutique. I recommend using social media and email marketing to promote your boutique. You can also use paid advertising, but it can be expensive. Right now, I am recommending a page likes campaign to my current students.
That’s it! These are the basics of how to start your own online boutique. If you follow these tips, you’ll be well on your way to starting a successful online boutique.
